 Mixing MELT, Young Living Essential Oils, Meditation, Yoga and Pilates, Kathleen style, made its debut in Topeka when I began teaching it at Maximus Fitness, in 2002.
In 2003 I became a fully certified Stott Pilates instructor (a 3 year process) which included a certification in Pilates-Infused Yoga.
 In 1996, while teaching Yoga at Popeye’s Fitness in Topeka, Kansas, I founded my own company,

A Healing Place Pilates and Integrative Health Services, LLC.
 Since then, I have added Young Living Essential Oils, MELT and Meditation to my Pilates/Yoga classes.

MELT stands for Myofacial Energetic Length Technique, founded by Sue Hitzmann.

Absolutely everything is about frequency. So, everything that we do in my classes involves ways in which we raise our frequency to promote health.

Since all disease is a lowering of frequency, according to Quantum Physics, my classes are all about the healing part, raising the frequency of our own electric/magnetic energy fields- to become our very best.

 MELT is about much more than simply replacing your hard roller with a soft one. It involves special techniques that teach you how to access your connective tissue system to remove stuck stress, the cause of chronic pain.

Yoga-Laced Pilates is my own compilation of the best of all I’ve learned in the past 50 years about Yoga, Pilates, Meditation MELT, Self-regulation and Essential Oils.

Part of my classes involves kind of a compare/contrast of Yoga and Pilates to address all of those great questions about the similarities and differences and why this way for this and that way for that.

Since absolutely everything is about vibration/ frequency, everything that we do in my  classes involves ways in which we raise our frequency.

  We diffuse Young Living Essential Oils in to the air in my studio. When you come in, you are given a few drops in your hands to breathe more directly.

 Then we MELT our connective tissue using small balls and special memory foam rollers to prepare to work our bodies and minds together, lesson any chronic pain and remove stuck stress. MELT is a simple, self -treatment technique to help people get out and stay out of chronic pain.

Then we finish in Shivasana sometimes in non-traditional ways.

 Whether you are brand new to any of these modalities or simply want to deepen your practice, this class is a wonderful, healing place to be.
